This is George Bush’s accountability moment. That’s why I’m here. The mainstream media aren’t holding him accountable. Neither is Congress. So I’m not leaving Crawford until he’s held accountable. - Cindy Sheehan

Al Qaeda to West: It's about policies

"To the people of the crusader coalition ... our blessed Sheikh Osama has offered you a truce so that you leave Muslim land. As he said you will not dream of security until we live it as a reality in Palestine,'' he said. "Our message to you is clear, strong and final: There will be no salvation until you withdraw from our land, stop stealing our oil and resources and end support for infidel [Arab] rulers."

So why don't we go to the table and negotiate? Where are the statesmen and women? Has Bush gotten rid of everyone except Neocon crazies? Has this world gone totally mad? al-Zawahiri is offering an opportunity here, will we not take it?

Hell, I'll smoke WITH 'em if we can just talk. Dialog is the first step. Can't get anywhere without dialog.

I wish it were of course, Bush has made a huge mess but I do hope there is a peaceful way out.
