This is George Bush’s accountability moment. That’s why I’m here. The mainstream media aren’t holding him accountable. Neither is Congress. So I’m not leaving Crawford until he’s held accountable. - Cindy Sheehan

Bush interrupts vacation for Schiavo

John at Crooks and Liars has a great post:

'Bob makes a great point. President Bush was more than willing to interrupt another one of his vacations to jump on a plane, travel thousands of miles to Washington, sign Republican legislation on the Terry Schiavo case and fly thousands of miles back to Crawford all for the circus clowns, but interrupting a bike ride to take a walk down the road to meet with Cindy was just too much " hard work" for him. When it comes to God's Own Circus, the President will move heaven and earth. '

Key point here "God's Own Circus".

The Idiot in Chief will do anything to further the cause of the religious right to create a theocracy in this country.

Terry Schiavo was a tool to be used for that end. That's all she was, a tool, or stepping stone, to be used and then cast aside.

If anyone in the world really believes that the chimp, or any of the fascist repukes, really had Terry's best interest in mind they are sadly mistaken. They are rubes, dupes, and fools.

Bush doesn't care about Cindy Sheehan or the son Bush stole from her. Neither one of them fits into his grand plan for world domination.
