Goldfish Surrender Lives to Jeeezus

First Assembly of God Church in Alabama attempts to attract youth to its stomach-churning ministry with lure of cash prizes.

"I knew that by swallowing that goldfish, God would be glorified and kids would be impacted," says Josh Simpson,
Pastor of another bugf*&k crazy congregation.

Gloooooory! Jesus wept.

I got this theory. I think the Jesus I learned about, the compassionate, understanding, tolerant one, is the real Jesus. Know why? Because if he weren't he would have smited (smote?) all these crazy Jesus freaks for sullying his good name. A corollary to that theory, Jesus must have an outstanding sense of humor.

Just how in the hell does this Josh Simpson figure "God" will be glorified be a bunch of teenagers swallowing goldfish?
I would think that swallowing...as in eating...something that was alive would be sacraligious.

I think we all know that those teens were in it for the chance to win the $250.
